Prof. Vassilis Argyropoulos is Professor at the University of Thessaly/Greece in the area of vision disability since 2004. He has been invited at many national and international conferences as a keynote speaker and has coordinated and participated in a number of national, Erasmus+ and Horizon projects in the areas of special education, particularly in the field of vision impairment and multiple disabilities. He serves the ICEVI as the contact person in Balkan Countries and he runs the lab “Laboratory of Access to formal and non-formal learning for individuals with sensory disabilities”. He has more than 100 publications and his research areas include haptic apprehension, braille literacy skills and issues of access and inclusion of individuals with visual impairments and multiple disabilities in formal and informal learning environments.
