Dr. Sabrina Signorini, MD, PhD, is a specialist in Child Neuropsychiatry. She is the head of the Developmental Neuro-ophthalmology Unit and of its Mariani Foundation Centre ‘Not just eyes for growing up’ at the National Institute of Neurology C. Mondino Foundation, based in Pavia, Italy. Her clinical and research activity focuses on diagnosis, developmental trajectories, re-habilitation and functional profiling of Brain-Eye disorders. About these topics she has authored more than 90 research articles in English peer reviewed journals. She is consultant at Fondazione R. Hollman, Cannero Riviera (VB) (Italy); Fondazione Together To Go, Rehabilitation Centre for Childhood Disability, Milano (Italy)¸ A.I.A.S. Città di Monza ETS (Italy); AbilNova Center, Trento (Italy). Principal Investigator (for Mondino Foundation) of the Joint Lab with the U-VIP at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa which set up in 2018 in Pavia with the aim of developing, adapting and validating evaluation tools and multisensory rehabilitative technologies. Since 2008 she is professor at the Degree Course in Child Neuropsycomotor Terapist and at the School of Child Neuropsychiatry at University of Pavia. Teacher at training courses (CME - accredited) on neuro-ophthalmological disorders.
