Agnese Suppiej is currently Full Professor of Pediatrics, Child Neurology, Neurophthalmology. Head of Pediatric Section and of the Residency School of Pediatrics, at the University of Ferrara, Director of the Pediatric Unit at the University Hospital S.Anna, Ferrara. She is co-cordinator of the Low Vision working group of the ERN-EYE (European Reference Network) and member of the ERN-EYE coordinating committee.
She is Board member of the European Society of Paediatric Neurology, where she is also member of the Executive Committee of the National Advisors. She is vice-President of the Italian Society of Pediatric Neurology.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Verona and specialized in Pediatrics and in Child Neurology and Psychiatry (summa cum laude) at the University of Padua (Italy). She has received her Medical Doctorate on Sciences of Development at Burden Neurological Institute Bristol- UK and Dept. Pediatrics University of Padua (Italy)
She has authored more than 180 research articles in English peer-reviewed journals, as well as 12 invited chapters in international and national books.
